Go to the site http://www.docstoc.com/docs/526617/Effects-of-Forces-Moments and Click fullscreen within the flash content which is situated next to the orange "Download" button. Now Minimize the Firefox window and click on taskbar preview. You see a black screen in place of the flash content. Same goes to youtube, You cant see the video picture. or sometimes when taskbar preview refresh is set to 0 seconds which yields realtime picture caching, we may get to watch the video in the taskbar preview for some purpose but with this feature disabled we cant see flash content at all..enable flash in the list all tabs feature too
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.go here http://www.docstoc.com/docs/526617/Effects-of-Forces-Moments
2.click fullscreen next to the download button
3.taskbar preview of this page gives a black color
gives black color after clicking on the content . Click on next slide to see black color
Try: http://www.wix.com/free/website
open it, then minimize, then hover on the preview.

Doesn't work. A black page is shown in the preview.

My understanding is that this isn't technically feasable due to how plugins draw. But over to layout.
Component: General → Layout
Product: Firefox → Core
QA Contact: general → layout

Yep. Windowless flash should paint fine, but windowed expects to be given an actual OS-level window to paint into, which is just not something we have in this case.
Go to YouTube experiments and opt in for YouTube low latency feather experiment. Load a flash video and hit like while its loading. The video is hidden when the notification appears (liked) but the audio is heard in the background when the video is hidden.
Either audio and video both needs to be paused or both needs to be displayed.

We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160) and bug 1687239 has removed the relevant Layout code, so this bug is irrelevant now.
