Details

There seems to be no way to have certain threads watched (as in NC 4.76).

i use filters to mark newsgroup threads i created as watched (sender = lairo -> 
watch thread). There seems to be no way to watch threads in Mozilla at all 
(pressing "w" on a thread header doesn't mark it as watched.

This feature is very useful in combination with view - messages - watched 
threads (also not available in mozilla.

Please include these two features soon (message filters that mark as watched AND 
view watched threads).

This RFE already exists. You might want to add comments about having filters
mark a thread as watched to that bug.
