RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 168680

People

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12
Build Identifier: 1.0b2

There is no way to attach an arbitrary file to an event in Lightning, as mandated by rfc 4791 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4791#section-8.5). The "Attach" button in the event toolbar only allows entering a URL.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create event in Lightning calendar, and open/edit it
2.Click the Attach button
3.note that it only allows you to enter a URL, with no provision for uploading a file.
Looks like duplicate of Bug 168680.
Yes, I guess when there are over 600000 bugs (based on the id of this one), searching for existing bugs becomes a **** shoot. Pick the wrong set of keywords and you miss it completely. in this case, "rfc 4791". Sigh.
