This is what used to be called an evangelism bug. If inappropriate, please advise reporter of correct action to take.

A link on Adobe's support website offers a PDF file attachment which opens as text in the browser.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an Adobe ID at http://www.adobe.com
2. Submit a support request which results in them sending you a file attachment.
3. At the customer support portal at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/support/index.cfm?event=portal , at the lower right, will be something like

Attached File (view)

4. Click on (view) to open the link.
Actual Results:
5. The link displays the binary code of the PDF file in the broswer. One knows this because the first few characters are %PDF.

Expected Results:
6. The browser should eether download the file to one's hard driver, or open it in the browser with the Acrobat plugin.

This is what used to be called an evangelism bug. If inappropriate, please advise reporter of correct action to take. Apologies to all for the false bug, I haven't reported for along time so I'm quite a bit stale at proper procedure.

Steve, I've started following your steps with the latest Aurora build on XP 32-bit, but only got to number 2 (I'm waiting them sending me a file attachment)

In the meantime, do you still reproduce this issue with a newer Firefox version?

I didn't receive any attachment.

Incomplete due to lack of response. Please reopen the bug if you still see this issue.
