Some "links" in the new add-on manager are commands that do things in-window ("enable", "more"), others are links to external pages and are opened in a popup window with a read-only location bar (and no navigation buttons). This window does not support scrollbars making many pages impossible to read.

Links with this problem include:
* author links from the main about:addons page as well as the details page (generally small enough content not to notice)
* homepage link from the details ("more") page
* reviews link from the details page.

The last two in particular would be good to have available, especially when you're searching for new addons and are trying to decide if it's safe and worth installing.

Steps to reproduce:
1) go to about:addons
2) search for "AdBlock"
3) find AdBlock Plus by Wladimir Palant in the list
4) click Wladimir Palant
5) compare to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/346/

Alternately
4) click the "more" link for item from 3)
5) click "reviews" and try to read more than a couple

I can see that new windows are getting opened when you have the "Open new windows in new tab instead" pref disabled. But I never get a popup window. There is always a full browser window used. Beside that I wonder, why we are trying to open links in new windows instead of a new tab.

Daniel, do you see the issue you have mentioned in a fresh profile?
