One of the ten page templates that needs to be revisited for the GetPersonas.com refresh. The extent of the redesign is up to Martell and Slater, but should be relatively simple and largely a header/footer + CSS refresh. This bug is for the main page: * http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/
Reassigning to Sean!

Any chance I could get an ETA on this?
Sean, what do you think?
Hey all, Mockup completed for getpersonas.com: Mockup: http://mozilla.seanmartell.com/personas/gp-mockup.png PSD: http://mozilla.seanmartell.com/personas/getpersonas-home.psd I've labelled the PSD throughout for ease-of-use and hopefully is straight forward for applying the new look to the subpages. Any questions/concerns/useful cooking tips, please give a shout.

Is there a current ETA on getting these templates finished up (the full GetPersonas set, not just this one)? I'd like to get these into the webdev queue ASAP. Please let me know. Thanks!
Should be this week - sorry about the delay. Fx4 and AMO redesign stuff took (and are taking) longer than planned.
Final Getpersonas main page design ---------------------------------- PSDs: http://mozilla.seanmartell.com/personas/getpersonas-home.PSD Preview JPGs: http://mozilla.seanmartell.com/personas/getpersonas-home.jpg ---------------------------------- Only the homepage design, but the new style should be easy to adapt to the lower pages. Any clarifications/concerns, send 'em my way. Enjoy!
Awesome, thanks Sean. Deb, apologies for having to ask this again, but could you post the list of other templates you'll need for this? (Or just link me to the relevant bugs if they're already filed.) Lee, you'll be able to start on this soon, right?
Hey folks, I'm not sure if there are individual Bugs created for ea subpage, but wanted to let you know I started adapting Sean's homepage stylings, starting with the Gallery page: http://intothefuzz.com/leetom/Getpersonas/JPG/getpersonas_gallery_01.jpg Some outstanding questions/issues I have are: - Would we like to continue using the Personas on the hangers graphic in the header? If so, would somebody pass me a source file? If not, is this open? Should we use the Fx logo here? - Header treatment filigree: will this pose a problem using this background image underneath the main menu and "Welcome..." account links? - Footer: On the homepage PSD, the footer links and language pull-down are not contained in a footer 'bar' - it seemed a little floaty to me without having something to visually anchor that info. If we prefer not to have it, let me know - I'm just curious. Thanks! Lee
Thanks Lee - this looks like a good start to me. Deb/Sean...I'll leave the questions in comment #9 up to you if that's ok. I will say, though, that I don't have any great attachment to that personas-on-hangers graphic, so I'm fine with dropping it from this redesign.
Also Deb, please do let us know about those other pages/bugs when you can. Thanks!
Here's the first mockup for Personas/Get Started: http://intothefuzz.com/leetom/Getpersonas/JPG/getpersonas_getstarted_01.jpg

It's pretty late here :)
Thanks Deb. Do we need distinct designs handed over for all of those pages, or can WebDev create any of them based on the templates?
Not sure -- adding webdev folk to the cc list to find out.
I think bug 618302, bug 613203, and bug 618304 is all we would need unless there are specific things you have in mind for the others. This is the first I've seen of any of these bugs so I'm a little blindsided and am also curious about the schedule for delivery and what you were hoping for implementation. We can talk outside of bugzilla if you like.
The three I mean are: > 618302 ltom@mozilla.com GetPersonas redesign: Main page > 618303 ltom@mozilla.com GetPersonas redesign: Gallery page > 618304 ltom@mozilla.com GetPersonas redesign: Individual Persona page
Sorry, I thought we had discussed this in December. I should have cc'd you earlier. Martell said he'll be able to get any outstanding templates finished by the end of the week. Obviously the ideal would be to get the redesign done in time for Firefox 4 launch, but I understand if that's not possible. Creative was supposed to have their side of things done before Christmas, so that obviously has had an impact. When do you think it would be possible to get this done? I totally understand that you guys have much higher priority projects in the queue.
To be clear on my thoughts behind the visual refresh -- The updated look was designed keeping in mind that most changes are simply CSS tweaks, not a full site overhaul. Most of the changes should be able to be implemented in global CSS stylesheets. I'd assume that changing the thumb CSS styles as seen in the mockup for the homepage would trickle down throughout the site. Nothing should be moved in layout, just restyling of CSS styles and an added graphic or two for the top dark header. As for the universal tab, that could be left off until the code for the main site is complete.
