if a website is saved as apptab, it is saved properly as long as firefox is opened, but it won't be loaded automatically when firefox is restarted. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.save a website as apptab
2.close firefox
3.restart firefox
Actual Results:  
all apptabs stored in previous sessions of firefox are gone.

Expected Results:  
apptabs should be loaded automatically when firefox starts.

works for me. Please try by creating a new profile and check if you are able to reproduce.

ok. I created a new profile and you're right: apptabs worked the way they should. than i started started to import bookmarks and installed extension and the problem reappeared. I alread had conidered the problem solved, so I cannont tell for shure which extension caused it. Strang thing is, that even if I launch FF in safe mode with all extension deactivated, the problem remains. 
I'm glad for any advice..

I will need the exact steps you did when you say "import bookmarks and installed extension". Furthermore, a list of extensions will also be helpful, if you can remember what you had installed at that moment.

I have a similar issue on WinXP SP3 system and here's the steps

Firefox > Option > Privacy > History
select Use custom settings for History
check Clear history when Firefox closes
from Settings, check every boxes except Site Preference

AppTabs will not remain between sessions.

However, from the Settings, if you uncheck the box Browsing History, then it will work OK.

Any ideas?
