Page loads slower when mouse is stationary... strange

If I am loading a page, and this gets more an more prevalent the more time I have spent surfing, the page can load slower or stop unless I move the mousepointer. Now why this is I have NO idea, but it does not happen in my normal firefox, only the minefield that I got to check out tabcandy

Does the issue occur with the latest beta or nightly?
Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile
What site(s) does it occur on?
