618860 - SeaMonkey hangs if "Bookmarks" sidebar is default and sidebar is opened right after SeaMonkey start

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get a fresh profile first (seamonkey -profilemanager)
2. After starting into the fresh profile, open sidebar (F9)
3. Select "Bookmarks" as your current sidebar panel
4. Close sidebar again (F9)
5. Close SeaMonkey
6. Reopen SeaMonkey (Now Browser is open, but sidebar still closed!)
7. Now open sidebar (F9)
Repeat from point 5 if SeaMonkey doesn't hang on first try.

Current result:
SeaMonkey takes 100% of one CPU core and hangs forever. Has to be killed via "killall seamonkey-bin".

Expected result:
SeaMonkey should just open sidebar with Bookmarks panel selected.

If you do

1. Get a fresh profile first (seamonkey -profilemanager)
2. After starting into the fresh profile, open sidebar (F9)
3. Select "Bookmarks" as your current sidebar panel
4. Close SeaMonkey
5. Restart SeaMonkey with -browser (browser should open with open sidebar)

SM will hang even before you get any window. :-|

I wonder whether this could be related to bug 614790 or another one of the fixes that landed recently:
we need to port those bugs to SeaMonkey (first)...

with this version and an existing profile
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101228 Firefox/4.0b9pre SeaMonkey/2.1b2pre

If the sidebar is active with 1 or more tabs and you exit with save session=yes
- restarting seamonkey hangs
- restarting "seamonkey -browse" hangs
- restarting "seamonkey -mail" works --> starting the browser via menu button windows --> browser  works (sidebar is displayed)

if the sidebar is not displayed and no save session: seamonkey starts
if the sidebar is not displayed and there are saved sessions ( multiple tabs): seamonkey hangs
