There is an option to "send a copy to" some folder after the message is sent (actually, it even saves bogus drafts in that folder).

In most cases no copies are required, just filing the one and only sent version. So there should be an option to just file the sent (!) message to a given folder.

I hate to say that: Even Outlook can do it.
