When you right click on the location bar, the menu should include a bookmark menu. This is useful if some people don't have the bookmark menu selected in preferences. The menu should show some bookmarks and to view more scrolling will be required.
IMHO I don't feel it's useful : you already have 3 ways to go to a bookmark : the sidebar, the menu in the personnal toolbar and the bookmark menu in the main menu.
Yep this should not be done it would crowd the UI even more. You can access bookmarks through Sidebar, throug the Bookmarks menu, and through the Personnal Toolbar is you have it on.. so honestly it's good enough for me Fabian.
When you right click on the location bar besides having Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, and Select All, I think there should be a shortcut menu. It would be very useful for people who don't want the sidebar or the menu in the personal toolbar. Some people may not like this idea, but some may like it, so I think it would be nice if it was an option. Having the bookmarks menu at the top makes it look like IE.
Given that a greater number of potential users of Mozilla are currently using Internet Explorer than are using any other browser, what, exactly, is wrong with looking like Internet Explorer? A context menu is for items to do with the current context. Having an entire bookmarks menu in the context menu for a text field seems *highly* misguided.

It should look more like Netscape 4.x than Internet Explorer.
Chaning the qa contact on these bugs to me. MPT will be moving to the owner of this component shortly. I would like to thank him for all his hard work as he moves roles in mozilla.org...Yada, Yada, Yada...

bug 61924 should be done one way or another IMHO. This bug should be marked wontfix.
> It should look more like Netscape 4.x than Internet Explorer. There are three problems with that statement: (1) it was not supported by any arguments against my 2000-12-09 comment; (2) 4.x did so have a top-level Bookmarks menu; and (3) 4.x did not have a Bookmarks menu included in the context menu for its address field. Adding a Bookmarks menu to the address field context menu would make it unwieldy and slow to open. And since the current Bookmarks menu is more obvious and easier to use (you only have to go past three items to get to the bookmarks themselves, rather than nine), nobody would use such a bookmarks context menu anyway. WONTFIX.

Don't jump at me please if I say something stupid because I haven't been around a long time, but is it possible that right clicking on the location icon could show the bookmark menu? (or at least add bookmark, remove bookmark)?
