When clicking a few in below the Plugins tab in the Add-ons manager, the Recent updates and/or Available updates pane is shown.

Go to Tools > Add-ons. 
In the Add-ons manager click a few in below the Plugins tab.
-> The Available Updates / Recent updates page is shown.
