Steps to Reproduce:
1. selected Environment is Windows 7 (ultimate) + firefox 3.6
2. url :www.icicidirect.com
3. click on login link , url is now https://secure.icicidirect.com/customer/logon.asp
4. provide credentails , set start in "Equity-trading" and click login now.
new url is https://secure.icicidirect.com/Trading/Equity/Trading.asp
Actual Results:
the sub- menu is not visible - as seen in url @ http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=rbcmfc&s=7
Expected Results:

Please don't post large testcases as comment, attach them.
This makes the whole bug difficult to read.
There is no rendering difference between all win32 versions.
Please test again in the Firefox safemode http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode and a new profile http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles
the page source for the url where the menu metadata is there but not visible on page
based on instructions from Matthias - the bug is not reproduced when firefox is started in safe mode and all add-ons disabled.
later when disabling each add-on selectively it was discovered that Adblock Plus 1.3.2 is causing the problem. It seems to be targeting the Sub-menu as an AD.
