From bug 601990 and bug 618362, it would be useful to allow the user to set HOTLOOP. It should be possible to do this both from the script and from the command line, I think. We want to fuzz with lots of different HOTLOOP values. We also don't want to break tests that assume a certain HOTLOOP value (checkStats).
Obsolete with the removal of tracejit.
