A download in progress is not cancelled with disk space runs out. It can't be removed either.

And then you can't cancel it or click anything. Haven't tried to clear by clicking "Clear downloads". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download file. 2. Make sure disk space runs out. 3. Profit. Actual Results: Progress reporter crashed. Everything else works fine. Expected Results: Cancelled. Default theme, default everything.
Are you getting a disk is full message? Could be the same issue as bug 471067

This is still true in FF 6 and 7. The very same issue, if the disk runs out of space while downloading a file the item will be stuck forever. What other information is required?

In this exact moment I have a crashed download due to being out of disk space. The item is frozen showing the partial progressbar and the remaining time "1 minute, 26 seconds remaining". Leaving the cursor over it shows a tooltip with the file name just like other downloads. Leaving the cursor over the cancel and pause buttons also shows their respective tooltip. But pressing pause or cancel is in vain. The buttons doesn't seem to respond.
