Details

The --update-link and --update-url options are not well documented.

The documentation should explain that --update-link generates an update.rdf file that can be used to update an add-on being distributed on your own server (rather than on AMO) and adds a link to it to the XPI's install.rdf file; and --update-url specifies the location of that update.rdf file on your server, i.e. it's the link that gets added to the install.rdf file.

It might be worth throwing in a link to https://developer.mozilla.org/en/extension_versioning,_update_and_compatibility#Update_RDF_Format.
