User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/8.0.552.224 Safari/534.10 Build Identifier: 3.6.3 Hi - I got SMTP authentication problem when setting email. 1. Using mail_delivery_method : SMTP::TLS 2. Entering parameters for SMTP_username : XXXX@gmail.com password : XXX Throws below error The new value for smtp_username is invalid: SMTP Authentication is not available. Run checksetup.pl for more details. 3. I am following this link http://www.dawood.in/bugzilla_alerts_using_gmail.html SMTP server : smtp.gmail.com:587 It looks like things are not getting authenticated. I did went through internet But not able to get any proper help. Any can guide me through simple steps of email setup. I would really appreciate it. I am not sure if this any bug or something where manual tweaking is required. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Setting up email parameters in Bugzilla Actual Results: should save the parameters Expected Results: Send emails from bugzila.
