Details

Tested, using: Mozilla/5.0 (Maemo; Linux armv7l; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101222 Firefox/4.0b9pre Fennec/4.0b4pre I've also seen it with the beta3. Steps to reproduce: - Slide open the hardware keyboard of the n900 - Tap on the 'New tab' icon to open a New tab, the awesomebar comes up - Type a character on the hardware keyboard, e.g. the 'm' key Expected result: The 'm' character should be displayed in the url bar Actual result: The replacement text in the url bar disappears, the caret appears, but the 'm' character doesn't appear.

Seems to be wfm in today's trunk build on Maemo.

I could see the bug still in an Android 2010-12-31 build, but not anymore in today's build.
Never mind, the bug is still there, but there is an extra step needed to reproduce it. Now the steps to reproduce are: - Make sure the hardware keyboard of the n900 is open - Tap somewhere on the content area, to make sure it is focused - Tap on the 'New tab' icon to open a New tab, the awesomebar comes up - Type a character on the hardware keyboard, e.g. the 'm' key
