User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2010111021 Camino/2.0.6 (like Firefox/3.0.19)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en; rv:1.9.0.19) Gecko/2010111021 Camino/2.0.6 (like Firefox/3.0.19)

Try the same thing in Firefox 3.6.13 and it works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Goto http://keepvid.com
2. Enter a YouTube URL
3. Wait for javascript to be loaded
Actual Results:
Long wait. Message to download Java

Expected Results:
One will be able to select the file type and have it download to hard disk.
In the forum http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=10065857#p10065857, there was speculation that keepvid breakage was more fallout from the JEP security fix (and thus another case of bug 607678), but no one ever confirmed it.

If the breakage is caused by the same thing, then this Camino build http://www.ardisson.org/smokey/moz/Camino-2.0.6-bug610525.dmg should work (it's Camino 2.0.6 plus the fix for that bug). (Important note if you want to keep using this build: this build does not have software update, so it *will not* update you to 2.0.7; you will have to pay attention to http://caminobrowser.org/blog/ to see when 2.0.7 is release and then manually download 2.0.7)

If that build does not work, do Camino 2.1a1pre nightlies http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/camino/nightly/latest-2.1-M1.9.2/ work? (You can use http://pimpmycamino.com/parts/troubleshoot-camino to test the nightly without affecting your normal profile/settings.)

Can you please answer comment 1?
Whiteboard: DUPEME? → DUPEME? [CLOSEME 01/15]
In case I am the one asked to answer comment 1: I will keep a watch on the release of 2.0.7 and will test it when it's available.
Can you please try the builds mentioned in comment 1 *now*, as we don't have a 2.0.7 release on the horizon anytime soon (and I guarantee this bug will be forgotten by then)?
Pimp My Camino didn't open Camino so I tried the nightly build. It worked like it's supposed to.
Should I just make this my working copy of Camino if I want this to work?
OS: Mac OS X → Windows 7
(I had to force quit Troubleshoot Camino.)
Sounds like this is a duplicate of bug 607678, then, and yes, you can keep using that nightly build if you wish. (You can also use the other build Smokey linked to in the first part of comment 1.)

Just out of curiosity: what browser did you use to submit comment 5?
OS: Windows 7 → Mac OS X
I kept this chain of communication open in Safari while doing the downloading. Safari 5.0.3. Mac Pro 10GB
Oh, and also used it to keep open the instruction URL for downloading and using the Test script.
Just so this gets recorded for posterity, the reason I asked the question in comment 8 is because when comment 5 was posted, the OS was simultaneously changed to Windows 7. We've seen that occasionally on other bugs, I believe only when the person modifying the bug is using Google Chrome as a browser, but this is a definite example of Safari 5 causing the same problem. Possibly some bad interaction between Webkit and Bugzilla, though we're not sure.

Thanks for humouring me :)
