I installed Firefox 3.6.12 twice today on relatives' computers and the first-run page seems like there's something wrong with it, but not entirely sure if it's intended or not.
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6.12/firstrun/
The most noticeable thing was how far down the page the content starts -- this entire page could fit without scrolling, but there's a ton of space at the top as though there should be a global nav menu there but there's not.
Also, the bottom has the yeti being cut off as though the blue footer is there but it's not.

Thanks Fligtar. Can you include a screenshot to confirm that we're all seeing the same thing? I get what you're saying about the positioning of the page, but am not seeing the yeti thing (he's cut off, but that's b/c he's sitting behind the bar with the email signup in it...at least on my screen).

I think the yeti problem was the angle I was looking at the screens. Unless you look at it straight on, it's hard to see the blue in the box and you don't really know what the yeti's arm is. It looks fine now that I make out the arm.
On the top margin, if you compare
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6/firstrun/
to
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6/whatsnew/
the what's new page is a lot better positioned.

Thanks Flig. I think all these issues are actually covered in another active bug...check out https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=620554. I'm going to mark this one as a duplicate, but please reopen if you disagree.
