In bug 618151 I was reliably getting into a position where a load event was happening after I called stop(). I don't know if it's a special case because of what I'm doing in session restore or not, but it was certainly unexpected.

I worked around the issue in session restore, but dietrich wanted me to make sure this was filed as well, so here we are...
Load events are asynchronous, no?
