User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101123 SeaMonkey/2.0.11
Build Identifier:

When using Google Maps to get a route between two addresses, the main map shows the route with a blue line. While the routing line can be seen with SeaMonkey, it cannot be seen via any print operation: preview, print hard copy, print to PDF.

When spoofing Firefox 3.6.13, however, the routing line does print.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Google Maps at the indicate URI.

2. Select the "Get Directions" link to the left of "My Maps".

3. Input a starting address and an ending address.

4. Select the "Get Directions" button.

5. Select the Print link just above the map.

6. Check the "Include large map" checkbox.

7. Select [Print > Print Preview] on the browser toolbar.

8. Select Print on the browser toolbar.

9. Leave Google Maps. Remove all Google cookies. Spoof Firefox 3.6.x. Repeat steps #1 through #8.
Actual Results:
At step #4, the map shows markers A and B and a blue line connecting them.

At steps #7 and #8, the markers A and B still appear; but there is no connecting line.

At step #9, the connecting line appears with Print Preview and with Print.

Expected Results:
At steps #7 and #8, markers A and B should be connected by the routing line.

This is apparently also a problem when using Opera to view Google Maps.
Blocks: geckoisgecko
Confirming probable invalid UA string sniffing:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101227 SeaMonkey/2.1b2pre ID:20101227003001 (without spoofing)
Print-Preview does not show the Google-Maps route-overlay

Without clearing the browser's private data (Google cookies intact)

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101227 Firefox/4.0b9pre SeaMonkey/2.1b2pre ID:20101227003001
Print-Preview either via toolbar-icon or File-menu, shows the route-overlay perfectly
FYI and IIRC, this problem has been around for years ever since Google Maps had this blue routes feature. :(
Yes, this is a duplicate of bug #388722.
