MSN mail size issue and user-id field issue

found in 20101227 nightly build on Droid II and N1
(1) go to msn.com (mobile version correctly shown)
(2) click mail symbol

Result: desktop version of live.com shows tiny sign-in screen (screenshot)
Expected: mobile version of live.com sign-in screen

(3) enter user id with a . or _ (e.g. user_id)
(4) jump to password field

Result: user name gets truncated at the . or _ tapping back into the user field: del (backspace) doesn't work until you type any letter
Expected: user name doesn't get truncated when jumping to the password field. When going back to the user field, entry should be fully editable (incl. backspace)

I have seen this user behavior on other web pages like ebay and gmail

This is what I get right now when attempting to load msn.com with a User-Agent string like
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:23.0) Gecko/23.0 Firefox/23.0

GET http://msn.com/
301 Redirect to http://www.msn.com/

GET http://www.msn.com/
302 Redirect to http://t.msn.com/

GET http://t.msn.com/
302 Redirect to http://no.msn.com/?rd=1&ucc=NO&dcc=NO&opt=0

GET http://no.msn.com/?rd=1&ucc=NO&dcc=NO&opt=0
302 Redirect to http://t.no.msn.com/

GET http://t.no.msn.com/
302 Redirect to http://no.msn.com/

GET http://no.msn.com/
302 Redirect to http://t.no.msn.com/

GET http://t.no.msn.com/
302 Redirect to http://no.msn.com/

GET http://no.msn.com/
302 Redirect to http://t.no.msn.com/

GET http://t.no.msn.com/
302 Redirect to http://no.msn.com/

Firefox eventually gives up and shows the "failed redirect" screen.
Summary: Compatibility: msn.com directs to desktop version of live.com, user-id field issue → msn.com goes into redirect loop when requested with Firefox on Android User-Agent

When I'm requesting http://msn.com/

With
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:43.0) Gecko/43.0 Firefox/43.0
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 4.4.4; Mobile; rv:43.0) Gecko/43.0 Firefox/43.0

I reach:

a mobile version http://www.msn.com/ja-jp/
The same for Chrome Mobile UA.
