What do you means? Can't dismiss account wizard creation? Can't delete account at all?
The bug i meant is when I try and create new email account under account settings, I click on add mail account, key in my mail account setup with email address and password, when it comes to looking up for configuration it got the incoming and out going pop and smtp but the username checking took forever to confirm. When i click on manual setup it just did not move. attach is the outcome after three tries I got this in my All folders pane. I cannot delete these accounts and do not know how to. Please help me on this matter. Please show me how to delete these accounts for I cannot create new mail accounts. Any other way to create account without having this problem again. Is there a way for me to port the mails in thunderbird into microsoft outlook? Hope to hear from you soon Thank you.

Anything in tools -> Error console when deleting fails ? (me thinks you'll have to edit your prefs.sj file manually to get rid of the accounts).
Can you pls list out the way for me to do it, ie which file should i look into to delete this prefs.sj. Appreciate if you can list out the procedures and what not to do inorder for me keep my mail running ok. Thank you and look forward to your reply
prefs.js is the file name - make sure to back it up first. and then remove in that file the references to the faulty account.
m.azrai, were you successful?
