Hi Thar, thanks, but what we need is the word 'Burmese' in Burmese. It will be shown to Burmese users, so they can switch to their own language.

I got this.

It doesn't look like non-Burmese Windows (7, anyway) has glyphs for these characters, either. They'll end up looking like certain other high-plane Unicode characters do on Macs without the language packs.

Hi James,
It is true that, non-Burmese Windows do not have fonts or glyphs for Burmese characters. For Myanmar/Burmese users, Internet usage and typing in Burmese language was accelerated just around 2007, as blogging gets popular.

In earlier days (well..actually even now) there are uses of Non-standard Unicode fonts for easier typing and display for Burmese language in the web. Just handful of developers are trying to get this right and promoting usage of Standard Unicode font and content in the web. (http://www.myanmarlanguage.org/)

I'm sure everything will be fine for Myanmar/Burmese users. I was just commenting so reviewers and QA know that if they can't see the glyphs here, they won't see them when they test this, either.

Note that Burmese isn't on Verbatim yet. 2.4.2 isn't string frozen, so we'll be updating Verbatim on Thursday. That update will include Burmese.

Verified https://support.allizom.org/my/home displays, Burmese looks like boxes to me- so that's checked as much as possible

I can see Myanmar language in the list now. I think the boxes are because of missing glyphs in default font. Thanks.
