After migration from SM 1, the link toolbar is hidden (as per default), because its setting is not migrated - but it should.
This is localstore.rdf stuff. Do we migrate anything else from localstore?
No, we intentionally throw away localstore as it likely contains a lot of stuff that doesn't work in 2.x and possibly might even confuse it.
Storing "prefs" like this in localstore.rdf is bad. (I agree that not migrating localstore.rdf stuff is right, though!) Localstore.rdf should store sizes, visibility, etc., but not "behaviour". => Filed bug 622347 instead.
