Description

The ThroNew method of JNIEnv object fails for valid cases.
Throws error:
 INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: handle_response :Protocol error: 0 0

These tests can be executed using OJI API tests which lie in dir.
mozilla/modules/oji/tests.
(Look at README out there for build/execution).

libraries to test these API's)

These test cases can not be simulated by end-user thru' a normal APPLET operation.
The API tests are designed to test each method for all valid and invalid
conditions and use XPconnect mechanism thru' javaScript to invoke the methods.

These tests pass on Win32 platforms.

Tried these tests on Solaris 2.7/2.8 sparc/intel
using FCs bits of commercial bits of Mozilla dated 12/04/2000
with FCS bit of Java Plugin 1.3.0_01
