Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; 0.6) Gecko/20001205 BuildID: 0.6 Selecting Tasks > Privacy and Security > Security Manager does not invoke the configuration panel. Mozilla "freezes" for several seconds but does not produce any feedback. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Select Tasks > Privacy and Security > Security Manager. Actual Results: Mozilla "freezes" for several seconds but Security Manager configuration panel does not appear. Expected Results: Security Manager configuration panel should appear. Accessing this panel is required to change the default behavior of Mozilla when trying to access certain HTTPS sites.
did you install PSM? Debug -> Install PSM
Installing PSM did the trick! Would it be possible to alert the user that PSM needs to be installed whenever they try to access an HTTPS site without it?
Damn I'm pretty sure this is a dup (no error message), but I can't find it! Help me! ;) Fabian.
Marking worksforme. Any day now PSM will be built into Mozilla, and a warning that it is not installed will not be necessary.
