Description

[Pascal Chevrel:pascalc (PTO until April 26)]

We are updating the text for the major update box that we regularily propose to users of older versions of Firefox.

This text will be displayed in a pop up box to users of Firefox versions no longer supported by Mozilla urging them to upgrade to the latest stable release of Firefox.

This is a very short translation (a few strings) but rather urgent one.

Here is what the final result will look like:

You will find on svn this new file in:

Note that the last string ("Not interested? <a %s>Tell us why.</a>") is currently not used, we may use it in the future to propose a survey.

The file was added in your mozilla.com svn repository (/firefox/unsupported/details/index.htm), you just have to "svn update" your local copy to get it.

(replace ab-CD in the url by your locale code) 


You can either commit directly to svn (in this case indicate your commit revision number) or attach your translation to this bug and I will commit the file for you.

Hm, ich sehe grade auf der Staging-Seite [1], dass es irgendwie doof aussieht, wenn der Text nach dem Bindestrich auf zwei Zeilen verteilt ist. Wenn der Text fertig korrigiert ist, sollten wir das Aussehen auch noch verbessern.

Danke für deine wie immer rasche Übersetzung, Michael!

$str6 = "get faster performance";
$str6 = "Erhalten Sie schnellere Leistung";

Das klingt etwas seltsam und ich weiß nicht, ob jeder darunter versteht, dass der neueste Firefox schneller ist. Wie wäre es mit "Arbeiten Sie effizienter" oder "Surfen Sie schneller". Wobei das von der Struktur her nicht zu den anderen beiden Strings passt. Darum geb ich ein + und vielleicht finden wir noch was Passables.

Ich hab’ mal folgende Alternativvorschläge:

Erhöhen Sie Ihre Surfgeschwindigkeit
Surfen Sie mit mehr Tempo
Surfen Sie mit Höchstleistung

Wobei ich einen der letzten beiden nehmen würde.

Wenn dir einer davon passen würde, könnten wir den nehmen.

Wärst du, davon abgesehen, mit meinem Vorschlag zum Layout (comment #2) einverstanden?

Ich lasse den Bug mal noch offen, bis diese Dinge geklärt sind.

"Surfen Sie mit mehr Tempo" gefällt mir auf den ersten Blick am meisten.

Und vielleicht könnten wir ein <br/> hinter dem Bindestrich einbauen, damit dann der Text umgebrochen wird anstatt dass er zweigeteilt wird.
