Hmm, how come we didn't see this in today's build? Esther? Seth - does this
only occur for multiple POP accounts or just one POP account?

this is fixed now.
Using 19990518 build on linux and the news.mozilla.org newsgroup as my only
account, this does not loop. Verified.
