STR: 1. Add the sync button to your toolbar. 2. Click it. You'll see the blue colors moving in the button to show that sync is making progress in the background. 3. Open a new window. The sync button doesn't reflect that an update is in progress in the background in the new window.
Yeah, this is a byproduct of not having a way to check "sync in progress" in the service.

Toolbar icon doesn't exist any more. Add-ons Bar icon *does* spin when a sync starts in the background.
