This is kind of meta bug to refresh access project web page.

General observations:
1) We need to state who we are and what we are for, we need to have manifesto - draft at https://intranet.mozilla.org/Accessibility/Manifesto
2) We need to be public, list projects we support and projects we work on, add news line (blog) to share our success and directions we move forward now
3) Share how to get involved: for technical persons, users, evangelists, to broaden the community through the world and all kind of people

Technical observations:
1) We should consider to set up access site at access.mozilla.org
2) Gets access logo for Mozilla access (currently we have logo for Firefox accessibility only)
3) We need to have extended donation section to allow people support projects they are interested in

David suggestion:

1. What Mozilla accessibility is. Perhaps something about our mission and strategy.
2. How to get involved. Mailing lists, IRC channel, bugs, weekly meeting.
3. Pointers into various sub topics, like our technical documents, our planning pages, related sites like accessfirefox.com.

I think we can start to work on content keeping in mind these items. We could have own page for each kind of content like we have for manifesto page or have one wiki page for everything. And keep this bug for ideas and discussions.

I like the idea of having an access.mozilla.org site.  With the mozilla.org/.com merge coming up the process of updating pages on www.mozilla.org is going to get more involved and you'll have more flexibility with a separate site (or with moving all of the still relevant pages to the Accessibility section on the wiki).

For reference, bug 665601 is about archiving obsolete pages in www.mozilla.org/access and is related to rebooting these pages.

Still need to figure out mozilla.org/access. I'm taking a look at what is still relevant.
