From a commenter on my blog: One of the problem of the old one is, that when I use another profile, close it and run firefox without -P the last used profile is used. Could you add an option that forces Firefox to use the default one, when no -P is given? Thanks.
I would propose different solution to this problem. I believe the bug is actually that starting with non-"selected by default" profile should NOT affect the previous stored checkbox state. Now profile manager stores cleared checkbox (always ask on startup) - so it is not possible to start alternative profile without affecting the default one. Proper behavior is to modify the stored checkbox state only when starting "selected by default" profile.
