User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110112 Firefox/4.0b10pre
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110112 Firefox/4.0b10pre

Using Firefox nightlies (4.0b10pre and older versions), and the latest Flash player 10,2,152,14, though I think the problem affects older versions of Flash as well.

Visiting YouTube or any other site that plays flash content/video, the performance is slow. The CPU usage is greater, the video is choppier, sometimes I'll see half a frame on one side of the video and different frame on the other half of the video, as the video pauses for about a second or two while the audio continues playing.

Frequent pauses in video playback are encountered. This is on one of the fastest laptops you can get (latest MBP).

Definitely a Firefox issue as Safari and Chrome play the video smoothly with little CPU usage.

I've labeled this as critical because if you guys want to compete with the other browsers, this *MUST* be fixed. The average user will simply notice that YouTube "doesn't work in Firefox but does in Chrome".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit YouTube and play a video
Actual Results:
Videos are choppy, especially the higher resolution ones.

Expected Results:
Play the video smoothly.
