Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20110109 Firefox/4.0b9pre
Build Identifier:

Since bug 418356 the subscript loader prepends the string "〈current URI〉 -> " to the URI of file it's to execute whenever the latter URI does not begin with "chrome:". While this may still be useful for loading file: URLs from chrome: contexts (and I'm not certain that it is), it has the unfortunate side-effect of creating fairly long chained URLs when used from resource: and other contexts, which makes debugging more difficult.

If it is to continue prepending URLs at all, it should only do so when the calling context itself has a chrome: URL, though it should probably never be done at all for resource: URLs.

Reproducible: Always
