This bug is a followup to bug 625269... in particular, this is bug 625269's "STEP 2: Tweak the actual "resize" code which makes items push and squish each
other slightly, to minimize some unnecessary resizing."

Hey Michael,

We're triaging a bunch of performance bugs, and I came across this one. I've read through bug 625269, but it's still not clear to me what _this_ bug is supposed to fix.

What unnecessary resizing are you referring to?

This bug is about resizing groups in Panorama. With Panorama being slated for removal I think we should just WONTFIX this.
