Pardon the vague description. When there's a doorhanger notification showing in a tab, close that tab and enter tabcandy. Undo close tab and the doorhanger appears in tabcandy.

Can reproduce on Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110117 Firefox/4.0b10pre 
I cand reproduce only for Doorhanger Notifications that appear when a page loads, like the Geolocation Doorhanger Notification.

Steps to Reproduce:

1.Go to http://gavinsharp.com/tmp/geo.html in a new tab
2.Press CTRL+W
3.Press "Group your tabs" button
4.Press CTRL+SHIFT+T

Actual Results
4.The closed tab is restored and the doorhanger notification appears

Is Panorama the right component for this? It seems to me that the doorhanger layers folks should check whether Panorama is visible or not when posting the doorhanger...

Panorama has been removed from Firefox 45, currently in Beta and scheduled for release on March 7th. As such, I'm closing all existing Panorama bugs.

If you are still using Panorama, you will see a deprecation message in Firefox 44, and when 45 is released your tab group data will be migrated to bookmarks, with a folder for each group. There are also a few addons offering similar functionality.

We're removing Panorama because it has extremely low usage (about 0.01% of users), and has a large number of bugs and usability issues. The cost of fixing all those issues is far too high to justify, and so we'll instead be focusing our time and energy on improving other parts of Firefox.
