I spotted https://wiki.mozilla.org/Session_Restore but its pretty old. Any docs around that would cover these areas? Background links feature-tracking bug links public specifications (RFC's, W3C specs, IETF Drafts, etc) design docs or internal specifications data flow or entity relation diagrams links to other implementations of the feature review is set for Jan 19 ad 2:30p PST

(In reply to comment #0) > I spotted https://wiki.mozilla.org/Session_Restore but its pretty old. Yea, that is quite out of data & should be updated. > Any docs around that would cover these areas? Docs, no. In fact I think the security review should be pretty quick but I wanted to do it to cover all bases. The major changes that were made are bug 588482 (deferred session restore), bug 586068 (cascaded session restore), bug 424872 (save data for HTTPS pages). App Tabs are also hooked into session restore (original work in bug 575560).

Don't know whether this ended up happening, but in any case this isn't relevant now.
