when openning firefox 4 beta 9 in windows 7 32 bit i get a black flash for a few seconds and then google stalls and cannot select links or the menu bar or tabs or the bookmarkbar. After closing firefox 4 beta 9 its askes me to close the program ive allready closed ans then open a new program.

From using Minefield Version 4.0b10pre (2011-01-15) every website works exceopt the search enginges of Google ,Bing and Yahoo with the link of those searches cannot be opened which will make Minefield freeze this also effects the inability to select emails via Hotmail it could be effecting gmail and yahoo mail aswell. and making search enginges such as www.google.com a home page will freeze the program instantly.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode?

How about with a new, empty profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile

it works fine in safe mode and i also found out that the reason that google or any search links didn't work is because the McAfee Site Advisor is not up to date with Minefield and after i disabled Site Advisor Google can be used and also can the search links and hotmail works as well.

Went through the following issue using the following builds/versions:
- latest Nightly build available here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2013-03-07-03-09-26-mozilla-central/
- McAfee SiteAdvisor 3.6.0.187
- Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x86

Once the Nightly build was installed, ensured that the McAfee SiteAdvisor was enabled and the home page was set to Google by default. Launched the browser several times without any crashes or hangs. Used the Bookmark Menu Toolbar, Firefox Menu's and selecting Links without issues.

sppeder, can you reproduce the original issue using the latest version of Nightly and McAfee SiteAdvisor?
