i am not sure if you handling bug request for firefox 4 unreleased version.

but with the release 9 when i press ctrl+shift+t i get my last closed tab but i loose my already open tabs unless i close the tab that was opened.

i should be able to access my already open tabs along with the tab that i closed by mistake

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
this happens only with firefox 4 beta 9

1. have few tabs open
2. close some tabs
3. press ctrl + shift + t
4. see how annoying it is
Actual Results:
after the steps i only have my last tab that i closed. i loose already open tabs unless i close that tab. after closing that tab i regain all the tabs that were open just before i pressed ctrl+shift+t

Expected Results:
it should add the tabs with the already present tabs. so that i can seamlessly press ctrl+shift+t and get all the tabs closed by mistake.

thanks you for releasing version 9. i am still super happy but wants this to be fixed asap as i close my tabs by mistake quite often and now its quite annoying.
i dont know what fixed this on my laptop..but i have added few addons and i dont see this happening anymore.. but maybe you want to ponder on it a bit more as it was happening earlier and might be happening for other users who want it fixed.
Before you press ctrl+shift+t have you ever opened the panorama screen to group your tabs,(ctrl+e or the 'group your tabs' button at the far right of the tab strip)? If so then this is a bug 624265 which exists in beta 9 but has already been fixed.

If this is the issue you are seeing you can open panorama and move your reopened tab back into the same tab group it was in when it was closed.
hi Luke .

thanks for the feedback. you are indeed right . the bug is a duplicate of the bug you mentioned. but its quite unsettling at first sight when i saw i lost the tabs. i have to go into panorama to switch back to my original set of tabs

what I understood from that is when i press ctrl + shift + t it creates a new group for each new tab that i recover from ctrl+shift+t.

well thanks for that info but now i am worried about the memory that i might be consuming unknowingly due to tabs open that might be in the panorama(in some other group) but invisible to me unless i check them in panorama.

i am not sure if this is the right platform for discussion but ijust poured in what came into my mind
