CSS size property of a table in the form of for example:
height: 100%;
is ignored (the result is the same as it would be "auto" or ommited).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Have some CSS like this:
div.tableContainer {
position: absolute;
height: 400px;
}
table.scrollTable {
width: 490px;
height: 100%;
/*
adding this makes it work identical in Firefox and Chromium (but then its not what its meant to be
display: block;
*/
}
And a TABLE inside a DIV like this:
<DIV class="tableContainer">
<TABLE class="scrollTable">
... rest of table code ...
</TABLE>
</DIV>
Actual Results:
The height of the TABLE box is whatever the whole table takes-up.
Expected Results:
The height of the TABLE box should be 400px - the height of the containing block.
When I submit the but, I will attach a sample complete HTML code which reproduces it. In Google Chromium 9.0.597.19 (68937) it works as I would expect it to.

Resummarizing to make it clear what's really going on here.
David, can we make this work sanely somehow? It's not quite clear to me why we're making the sum of the row heights bigger than the specified height of the table here.... but table height stuff is pretty wacky.
