Other sites also you open the panel of smiles Mozilla starts to load the processor

this doesn't appear to be a security bug (or even a problem with an addon).

please try with http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/safe%20mode if the problem doesn't happen in safemode, then the problem is probably related to an extension.

either way, please indicate your results.

Check in a safe mode has shown that the problem about hangup of smiles and search lowering remains
