User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b9
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b9
When editing a bookmark's name using the bookmark Properties dialog, if the only change you make is to remove some characters from the name using the "Cut" command, the change is not saved.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click on a bookmark and select Properties.
2. In the Name field, select some characters and press Ctrl+X (or right-click > Cut).
3. Click Save.
Actual Results:
The change you made to the bookmark name is not saved. It still has the old name.
Expected Results:
Expected the name to change.
I think this is a regression since 4.0b8, but don't quote me on that.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110119 Firefox/4.0b10pre
Works for me. Please try if it works fine in safe mode or try by creating a new profile.
