My display settings fell back to the default debian settings.
Reproducible: Didn't try
It basically crashed it all, i'm going to go back and check it upon a restart to see if it's done again. Also firefox is using 80% cpu currently and seems to be dying.

This bug was reported using a pre-release version of Firefox 4. Now that Firefox 4.0.1 final has been released, can you please update and retest your bug? A fresh profile would be a good starting place to test,

It doesn't seem to be present inside of firefox 4.x and later. I've closed it accordingly.
