In previous versions of Firefox, two black dividing edge lines would appear next to the tab overflow arrows. These lines helped differentiate the buttons from the tabs, which is quite important as the overflow arrows and tabs have identical styling. In current nightlies of Firefox, these lines are gone. This makes the tabs blend with the dividing buttons, creating a weird morphing tab shape.

The plan is to add a shadow so that it looks like https://wiki.mozilla.org/images/1/1d/Firefox-4-Mockup-i06-%28OSX%29-%28TabsTop%29-%28TabOverflow%29.png We have bug 610080 about the shadow.
