I don't think the two bugs are duplicates. 626350 is about the fact that there is a URL in the text of the developer profile, it isn't getting converted into a filter automatically. This bug, on the other hand, is about the fact that I have <a href="link">linktext</a> in the text of my developer profile, but instead of being displayed as a link to "link" with the text "linktest", it's displayed exactly as I just typed it, i.e., with the raw HTML code visible. Those don't look like the same issue to me.
