I am running the community edition on ZenOSS 3.03 (just reinstalled OS, and ZenOSS from website above, I messed up the upgrade =-0 ) on CentOS 5 (i386).  When I browse to it with Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit and the above version of SeaMonkey, most pages appear to work fine, but this intranet page http://blackbird.masd.edu:8080/zport/dmd/Monitors (Advanced tab, Collectors button) has a button which is supposed to drop down to show selections, but does NOT in SeaMonkey. The button to the right of Zenoss Collectors, changes shading, so I know it acknowledges the click, but the choices do not show up, which are supposed to be Add Monitor..., Delete Monitors..., and Performance Template in a drop down list. SeaMonkey stays up and running with no messages.

I like using SeaMonkey because it is stable (again, it was crashing for a period of time), so I can browse the web with other browsers, but use this browser to keep track of work tasks.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open by network monitoring web-page, which is ZenOSS
2. Click ADVANCED tab and Collectors 
3. Try the button next to Zenoss Collectors (looks like ship's steering wheel).
Actual Results:  
No drop down menu.

Expected Results:  
3 selections in a drop down menu.

Firefox and Seamonkey use the same rendering Engine and everything content-related should be the same.
You can only get differences if you use different Gecko versions and the User Agent string is different and of course you may have different settings and addons.

Which version of Firefox did you test against? SeaMonkey 2.0.11 corresponds to Firefox 3.5.16

I disabled the add-ons without closing the browser, but nothing changed.  I cleared all history, and reopened the browser, and it works now. Re-enabled the add-ons and it continues to run correctly.  How could this change the behavior of that button?  I will keep using it to see if it shows up again.

Firefox version was 3.6.13 on Windows XP and and 3.6.3 on a live-boot Ubuntu Netbook remix and the button behaved itself. (the Firefox on my regular Linux box has Ad Block and Flashblock which definitely changes the way other frames look in ZenOSS).

Sounds like a cookie problem. If you cleared Cookies as well as browsing history this might have fixed it. Let us know if this re-occurs.
