User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101123 SeaMonkey/2.0.11
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101123 SeaMonkey/2.0.11
Since my university upgraded its system to version 2.0.11, Seamonkey does not successfully download PDF files with the plugin. A click on a link should automatically open the file but the screen turns black. The file can be opened by using Adobe Reader rather than the plugin and it does open without a problem in IE. I'm told many faculty have had a problem with this but the sysops can't figure out the origin of the problem.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on link http://web.clas.ufl.edu/users/kenwald/pos4931/EnglishGuttman.pdf at http://web.clas.ufl.edu/users/kenwald/pos4931/index.htm
2.
3.
Actual Results:
screen stays black
Expected Results:
pdf should load
This was not a problem with the previous version of Seamonkey

Ken what is the version of the Adobe PDF plugin?
Go Tools->Addons
In the addons manager select the plugins tab.
Look for the entry for the Adobe PDF plugin and report back here.
Also it might be a good idea to update your Adobe reader to the latest version if you haven't already.
