Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv7l; en-US; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110119 Firefox/4.0b10pre Fennec/4.0b4pre Device: HTC Desire A8181 OS: android 2.1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Fennec 2. Assure you have some bookmarks 3. Tap the awesome bar, go to bookmarks 4. Tap on a bookmark that has the name bigger than the screen-> slide the page to left-> tap the yellow star -> select edit 5. Select from middle to the end and try to delete it Expected result: - the selected text should be deleted Actual result: - the text is not deleted Note: - this only happens at the first time accessing a page and first time trying to delete - at a second time the text is deleted - please see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7DHVnjw5So here you can see that pressing delete will only un-blue the selection

ive seen this as well, and yes its only accessing the bookmark the first time. I'm able to recover by exiting and returning to the edit menu

Is this limited to certain devices or Android versions? I can't reproduce using Nexus One and Droid Pro. Also, Step #5 is not really supported in Fennec. The fact it works at all is an accident.
