User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110119 Firefox/4.0b10pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110119 Firefox/4.0b10pre Google.com main search box disappears. Sometimes the secondary page search box with your search results disappears as well. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.google.com. 2. Search for something. 3. Go back to the main Google page by clicking the back button. Main search box is gone and secondary search box (your search results) disappears as well. Actual Results: Google search boxes disappear. Expected Results: Google search boxes should remain visible.
This bug also occurs on the 3.6.X Firefox builds.
As of today (2/3/11), I have NOT seen this issue anymore in the latest Nightly builds. However, I am keeping it open for the 3.6.13 version as 3.6 has not been updated since this bug was reported on 1/20/11, because the 3.6 version doesn't update daily.
Version: unspecified → 3.6 Branch
If it occurred for both 3.6.x and 4beta.x and then went away on it's own, I'd be inclined to blame either the website or else an extension/plugin that has since been updated. Could you confirm that it no longer occurs on either 3.6.13 or the latest nightly, if you use a clean profile.

It is NOT occurring in both 3.6.13 and the latest Minefield, both with the default and new profiles. When I originally reported some of my bugs, I was running with a couple add-ons, one of which (Hard Blockers Counter) I no longer use due to it causing a lot of problems with Tab Management and bugs like this one. Another add-on I removed (Real Player Browser Record) because I don't use it. I am now running nearly add-on free and am not noticing many of my older bug reports happening. The only add-on I currently run using Minefield is called "Norton IPS 2.0". Other ones I use, but aren't currently compatible with Minefield yet and are disabled automatically on start.
-> Invalid given comment 6. Please reopen if this occurs using a clean profile.
